Customer Support Representative

ReverbNation is seeking a Customer Support Representative who will serve as the primary, first-level contact with our customers. The successful candidate will perform the duties necessary to process, maintain and respond to general inquiries.

Position Responsibilities:  

  • Serve as primary contact for all general account support questions
  • Communicate with users to identify and help solve site issues
  • Offer advice on how to use our products most effectively based on each user’s specific goals
  • Participate in daily and weekly updates from our product teams to stay current with changes across our site that affect our customers
  • Offer insight to other internal departments regarding product issues and potential site improvements
  • Maximize company revenues using appropriate customer service techniques to ensure customers are fully informed about our products
  • Interact with musicians and managers to help prepare music releases for distribution and creative assets used in digital advertising campaigns

The successful candidate will have:

  • Undergraduate college degree 
  • Strong verbal and written English language communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, etc.)

The ideal candidate will also have: 

  • Previous customer service experience, ideally in a consumer or retail context handling a high volume of inquiries
  • A positive and patient disposition 
  • Potential to advance beyond customer support into a different role in another area of the business.  In the past, we have had success promoting exceptional CSRs into sales, account management, product management, quality assurance, and operations.
